Sports Geek and dotstudioPRO get set to launch Sports Geek on Roku at the end of July 2018.
We are excited to launch Sports Geek channel on Roku using dotstudioPRO. All Sports Geek podcast episodes as well as selected keynotes presented by Sports Geek founder Sean Callanan will be available on a dedicated Sports Geek Roku channel.
“We’re excited expanding Sports Geek to connected TV, it’s great for us to use a platform like dotstudioPRO as we expect more of our listeners to be looking into OTT solutions like the Minnesota Vikings have,” said Sean Callanan.
“Working with dotstudioPRO has provided us with insights on how podcasters can find new ways to listeners but also provided a great channel and reason to step up our video game, delivering my keynotes to the channel as well as future video content in the pipeline.”
Through dotstudioPRO, Sports Geek can now distribute and syndicate exclusive video content at any time.
It's great to announce the launch of our Roku channel in the same week as two key conferences that have been critical to the success of Sports Geek, the business and the podcast. SEAT Dallas was an amazing event where Sean was able to deliver his Digital To Dollars workshop to 300 sports executives and Podcast Movement has been hugely beneficial in helping Sports Geek grow audience and downloads to pass the 300,000 downloads milestone.
